Kingdom Hearts III to Debut at TGS
According to the rumors sections in this month’s issue of The Official Playstation Magazine, Kingdom Hearts III is in development, as a PS3 exclusive no-less, and it set to make its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
Details are scarce at the moment, but the current issue of the official PS magazine should be dropping soon if you want to check things out for yourself.
The Tokyo Game Show will take place from October 9th through the 12th.

While we do stress, first and foremost, that this is being reported as a rumor, we also find that there’s a healthy dose of logic and evidence to suggest this is indeed going to go down at the TGS next month.
First, look back at last year’s TGS. Square Enix revealed Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep on the PSP, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on the DS and Kingdom Hearts coded for mobile devices. It’s safe to say Square does enjoy the TGS, and they’ve got a track record for making Kingdom Hearts announcements there.
Second, Kingdom Hearts III has been hotly anticipated for a while now and it’s been one of those games that’s been assumed to be in development for a while, just waiting for official confirmation. Square has to debut this behemoth title at some time, some place, and as you just read, the TGS is as fine a venue as any.
Finally, in light of today’s news concerning Tecmo, I’m sure Square would like to bounce back with a huge announcement sooner rather than later.
The TGS rolls around next month, and we’ll keep you posted.
